how does a squarespace website build work?
we’ve created a focused, collaborative process designed to keep things simple, efficient, and supportive while delivering a professional, polished website that truly reflects your business.
rather than long timelines and endless revisions, your website is built through a series of half-day sessions ($620 NZD incl. GST per session), allowing us to make meaningful progress while keeping you involved and confident in how your site works.
here’s what to expect:
website planning & preparation
your squarespace website build begins by securing your design dates with a signed agreement and a 50% deposit.
once confirmed, you’ll receive your website planning document, where you can share your vision, content, and branding elements such as logos, colours, and imagery.
we’ll then have a 30-minute call to walk through your ideas, clarify the structure of the site, and ensure everything is aligned before the build begins.
first build session
during our first half-day, i design and build the full structure of your website.
seeing the whole site come together allows you to understand the layout, flow, and overall direction before making refinements.
review & feedback
after the first build, you’ll have a few days to review the site and provide feedback or changes.
this gives you space to reflect and respond thoughtfully rather than feeling rushed.
refinement & launch
in the following session/s we implement your changes, connect any systems or integrations, and prepare your website for launch – including domain connection and final checks.
your website is now live – and ready to be shared loudly and proudly.
